Daniyar Berlibayev was appointed Managing Director for Gas projects of JSC NC “KazMunayGas”.
Berlibayev was born in 1968. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He has great experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Satpayev
ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL), JSC NC KazMunayGas (КМG) and the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan (МOG) signed a tripartite agreement on the transfer of a 25 % interest in Block Satpayev to the Indian company. The agreement was signed by Joeman Thomas, director of ONGC on exploration, Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Oil and Gas of the RК, and Bolat Alchulakov, KMG’s president, in the presence of the State Minister of Oil and Gas of India Shri Singh, in Astana on October 12, 2011.
Vitol
Trader Vitol has renewed deliveries of the Kazakhstan oil to Iran under the substitution scheme after more than a year break. The party of 4.7 thousand tons was sent from the Kazakhstan port of Aktau to Iranian Neka via the Bakikhanov tanker on October 11, writes Argus. In early June, Vitol has signed a six-month prolonged contract with Iranian Nico according to which since July the trader is shipping 30-35 000 tons of Okarem oil a month to Iran from Turkmenia.
Liquefied gas
Kazakhstan has built a marine terminal, first in the country, on the transshipment of liquefied gas. About it informs PortNews web-resource. The terminal is located in the port of Aktau on the Caspian Sea coast.

The Minister of Oil and Gas of the RКSauat Mynbayev has not confirmed nor denied the information on the sale of share holding of Exxon Mobil in the Kashagan project to the Indian consortium.
KazMunayGas
KazMunayGas has received a positive conclusion on the feasibility study for modernization of Pavlodar Oil Refinery. The feasibility study was elaborated within an «Agreement on cooperation and mutual understanding under making investments into the industrial infrastructure facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan» signed between KMG and Eni of Italy on November 5, 2009.
