According to Kazakhstan Today, the Vice-President and Finance Manager of NC “KazMunayGas” Dauren Karabayev declared that in 2017, the net cashflow from Kashagan is expected to be 180 mln US dollars. He said that the Kashagan production rate is around 180 thousand barrels per day.
This figure should increase up to 370 thousand barrels per day by the end of the year. “According to the preliminary estimate, in 2017, the fund “Samruk-Kazyna” and “KazMunayGas” together will receive the net cashflow of around 180 mln dollars after investing in Kashagan”, D.Karabayev said. He noted that the project already covers its operating costs and capital investments for maintaining and ramping-up the production rate, and generates the positive cashflow for its partners, informs Trend.az.
