The volume of oil shipment via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium offshore terminal in the port of Novorossiysk in January-April 2020 amounted to 22.25 million tonnes of oil, which is 9.6% higher than the same period in 2019 years at 20.30 million tonnes.
Shipment from CPC in April of this year amounted to 5 million 328 thousand 017 tonnes of oil gross, which is almost 30% more compared to April last year. In April, 52 tankers were shipped at the terminal.
Thus, the total number of vessels handled in the first 4 months of this year reached 212 units.
Of the oil volume shipped in April, 2 million 400 thousand 509 tonnes accounted for oil from the Tengiz field, 836 thousand 609 tonnes for oil from the Karachaganak field, 1 million 332 thousand 810 tonnes for oil from the Kashagan field, and 71 thousand 432 tonnes of oil for other Kazakhstani manufacturers.
In total, Kazakh shippers shipped 4 million 641 thousand 360 tonnes of oil in April, another 686 thousand 657 tonnes of oil were shipped from Russia. The shipping schedule for April is complete.
