About the journal
Petroleum journal is a business analytical edition in its industry. Its audience are the decision-makers in the oil and gas industry.
The journal’s mission is to be an information resource for objective highlighting the current situation in the oil and gas industry and discussing its prospects; for representing the interests of Kazakhstan and large state corporations in the international oil and gas community.
The journal’s publisher and editor-in-chief is Oleg Chervinsky, a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of Journalism of Kazakhstan, holder of Grand Prix of the Contest of Journalistic Skill «Energy of Pen», conducted by NC КаzMunayGas and KAZENERGY Association on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Kazakhstan oil.
In 2011, Petroleum Journal has been recognized as a winner in nomination «The Best Journalistic Article of the Year» within the Contest founded by the company CBE and conducted annually as part of the international symposium KazRefinEx.
In 2012 the Petroleum journal in the person of its editor-in-chief has become the Prize Laureate of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan in nomination "Economic Review".

In 2000, the journal was registered in the Ministry of Information of the RК№ 1043-Ж- 28.01.2000. In 2011, the journal has passed re-registration in the Ministry of Communications and Information of the RК, registration certificate № 11616-Жof April 26, 2011.
