The Kazakh-Korean consortium in the structure of KMG (which is represented by the company’s subsidiary JSC KazMunayGas Exploration & Production) and South Korean Korea Gas (KOGAS) has won a tender for the development of one of the gas fields in Iraq - Akkas.

The enterprises like people each have their own destiny. The history of the machine-building plant began in the first quarter of the last century when on the basis of mechanical workshops for servicing water and railway transport a new plant was formed which started to release equipment for oil fields.
Nobody could predict then that in decades it will become a leading machine-building enterprise in the industry and the whole country. For a long period of time it had the name of the plant evacuated from Ukraine «The Plant Named after Petrovsky», and in 2000 received its present name - AtyrauNefteMash LLP.

New Aspects in Transactions on the Transfer of the Subsoil Use Right under the New Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘On Subsoil and Subsoil Use’
Despite the strengthening of the requirements to the obtaining of an approval of a competent authority to commit transactions on the transfer of subsoil user rights, including by the transfer of shares (participatory interests) in a legal entity that holds the subsoil use right, as well as the pre-emptive right of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the transferred subsoil use right, shares (participatory interests) in a subsoil user or legal entities that may directly or indirectly govern the decisions of subsoil users, subsoil use is one of the high priority area for investors.
