Under the Government Regulation Magzum Mirzagaliev was appointed Vice-Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He succeeded Berik Tolumbaev, who submitted his resignation. The new Vice-Minister was born on November 7, 1978 in Almaty. In 1999, he graduated from Turan University and in 2003 from the Diplomatic Academy.
Work experience: 2000-2001: Senior Expert of Akmola Regional Forestry Administration. 2001-2002: Aktau branch Manager of MI Drilling Fluids International. 2002-2004: internship in Houston and Kuala Lumpur. 2004-2007: Sales Representative, Aktau branch Production Manager of MI Drilling Fluids International.
2007-2010: General Director of TenizService LLP NC KazMunayGas JSC. 2010-2012: Managing Director of NC KazMunayGas JSC. 2012-2013: Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors on innovative development and service projects of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
