KMG International continues to be the main partner of George Enescu International Competition, taking place September 3 – 25 in Bucharest. The partnership signed in 2010 with the organizers of the Festival and of the Competition is a commitment to catalyze important social values and representing Romania and Kazakhstan with impact and consistency, both nationally and internationally, as well as by financially supporting the young talents in their artistic development, by encouraging cultural exchanges and bringing Kazakh musicians on the Romanian stages – Zhibek Mussurgaliyeva, Arman Mourzagaliyev, Amir Tebenikhin (1st prize winner of George Enescu Competition in 2009, piano section).
“Culture is an indicator of any nation’s growth and evolution, and it is for this reason that we support various forms of art and facilitate the public’s access to quality musical events. Due to the nature of our Kazakh ownership and considering that Romania is the main market of our operations, we are engaged and support cultural exchanges between the two countries, promoting young talents and their outstanding results” - Azamat Zhangulov, Senior Vice-President of KMG International.
The activities supported by Rompetrol within this year’s edition include the Competition’s inaugural Gala, that took place on September 3 at the Romanian Athenaeum.
