From July 1, 2023, KazTransOil will increase tariffs for oil transportation services for export, with reference to the company's press service.
“By order of the General Director (Chairman of the Board) of KazTransOil dated May 26, 2023 No. 53, the tariff for the KTO service for pumping oil through main pipelines for export outside Kazakhstan in the amount of 10,150,00 tenge per 1 tonne per 1000 km without VAT was approved. The current tariff is 8,830.51 tenge per 1 tonne per 1,000 km without VAT,” the message says.
Recall, KTO Deputy General Director for Transportation Eric Sagiev said that the company receives applications to increase the transportation of Kazakhstani oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Germany, but the decision to increase supplies will depend on Russian partners. “Certainly, at the moment we have a number of applications asking to consider an increase. But everything will depend on what capacity will be provided to us by our Russian partners,” Erik Sagiev told reporters, answering a question about the availability of applications to increase oil transportation to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline. He recalled that for 2023 the company has a quota from the Russian Transneft for the transportation of 1.2 million tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany. The Deputy General Director noted that plans for pumping for the next year are being discussed at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter.
Earlier it was reported that KazTransOil sent an application to the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies to change the approved tariff for a regulated service for transporting oil to the domestic market of Kazakhstan through the trunk pipeline system for 2021-2025.
