March, 2014 Export customs duty (ECD) for crude oil in Kazakhstan has increased up to $ 80 per ton. The relevant decree of the Government of the RoK as of March 11, 1998, is published in the official mass media.
"The Government of the RoK decides to amend the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of June 7, 2010, # 520 “On the custom duty rates in the Republic of Kazakhstan”: the rates of the export customs duties on certain goods of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the above mentioned Decree, the line"2709 00 900 9 Crude Oil- 60 USD shall be edited as “2709 00 900 9 -Crude Oil- 80 USD”, stipulates the document. The decree is valid from the date of its first publication. Previously, the export customs duty for crude oil was $ 60 per ton.
