Mirzagaliev Magzum Maratovich was appointed Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan. He was relieved of his post as Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources. The decree on this was signed by the head of state.
Magzum Mirzagaliev was born on November 7, 1978. Graduated from Turan University in 1999, international economist. 2003 graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international economist. He also studied at the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after A. Sh. Yessenov, development of oil and gas fields. Internship in the USA and Malaysia. From 2001 to 2004, worked as Drilling Fluid Engineer MIDrillingFluids International (Schlumberger) in Tengiz and Western Siberia. From 2004 to 2007, as business development manager, production manager, head of the Aktau branch of MIDrilling Fluids International.
From 2007 to 2010, as the General Director of TenizService. From 2010 to 2012, as Managing Director of the National Company KazMunayGas. From 2012 to 2013, as Deputy Chairman of the Board for Innovative Development and Service Projects of the KazMunayGas. From 2013 to 2014, as Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan. From 2014 to 2019, as Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan.
Since June 2019, he has been the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan.
On September 7, 2021, Nurlan Nogayev was relieved of his post as Minister of Energy and appointed as governor of the Mangystau region.
