Energy of the Future: Baku Energy Week 2026 – A Strategic Platform for Global Energy Dialogue
The major event of the energy sector — Baku Energy Week — will take place in Azerbaijan for the 31st time on 3–5 June 2026. Over the past three decades, Baku Energy Week has established itself as one of the most significant international gatherings, bringing together leading companies, experts, and investors to discuss current challenges, development prospects, and strategies for the future of the global energy industry. The event plays a crucial role in shaping the international energy agenda.
Each year, The President Ilham Aliyev participates in the official opening ceremony of Baku Energy Week. Heads of foreign states — including the Presidents of the United States and Türkiye, as well as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom — traditionally send welcome letters to participants, underlining the high international standing of the event.
Baku Energy Week is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) acting as General Partner.
In 2025, the event attracted more than 6,000 professional visitors and brought together nearly 300 companies from 39 countries. Within the framework of Baku Energy Week, over 100 B2B and B2G meetings were held.
The Baku Energy Week traditionally unites the leading companies of the energy sector. Alongside SOCAR, participants and sponsors include such international and local companies as bp, ACWA Power, Masdar, MOL Group, Kolin İnşaat, Türkiye Petrolleri A.O., SLB, TotalEnergies, and Baku Steel Company.
