According to the local content manager of the NCOC N.V. Daurbek Utezhanov, the presence of the international ISO standard certificate will greatly benefit the local companies on many levels. “Having received the certificates, the local companies will be able to not only more confidently participate in the tenders of the North Caspian project, but also to improve the competitiveness of their goods and services to other international companies worldwide”, he explained.
The NCOC N.V. helps the local suppliers not only through the training and certification. Also the forums and seminars are held, allowing the local companies to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the NCOC N.V. during the process of retraining, with the requirements and standards in the field of health, safety and the environment. The seminars in the field of quality assurance and quality control are necessary for the familiarisation of the companies with the future projects and to facilitate the establishment of the joint ventures.
