In early October 2023, Astana traditionally became the energy capital of the Caspian region and Central Asia for a few days. From October 3rd to 6th, the EXPO Congress Center hosted the events of the now-established Kazakhstan Energy Week and the 15th Eurasian KAZENERGY Forum.
The 20th Atyrau Oil&Gas North Caspian regional exhibition and AtyrauBuild North Caspian regional construction exhibition took place in the oil capital of Kazakhstan.
From May 23 to 26, 2023, the 31st International Exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technologies" and the Russian Petrochemical Forum took place in Ufa. The event was organized by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Innovations of the Republic, and the Bashkir Exhibition Company, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Professional federal associations and unions also assisted in the implementation.
The 28th Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference KIOGE-2022 was held in Almaty. For three days, from September 28 to 30, 196 oil and gas companies from all over the world shared their best practices, technologies, and discoveries for the oil and gas industry.
From September 29 to October 2, the VII Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council was held at the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU). The event participants – industry experts and young specialists – discussed the topics of the energy transition, prospects, and future challenges for the global oil and gas industry.

The 19th North Caspian Regional Exhibition "Atyrau Oil&Gas" and 19th North Caspian Regional Exhibition of Construction "Atyrau Build" finished its work with the participation of 67 companies from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Russia, USA and Turkey. The exposition also included a national stand of the Export Support Center of Bashkortostan and a collective stand of the Yaroslavl region of Russian Federation. During the three days of the exhibition 2,347 profile visitors managed to visit, and 71% of the exhibitors have already reserved an area for 2023.
From May 24 to 27, the largest event of the year, the 30th-anniversary exhibition-forum "Gas. Oil. Technologies," took place at VDNKh-EKSPO Ufa.
Over the years, the exhibition has become one of the most significant events in the petrochemical sector of Russia. It is included in the business schedule of the heads of the largest companies in the industry.
October 4-7 in Nur-Sultan (Republic of Kazakhstan) KAZENERGY Association together with the World Energy Council (WEC) and with the support of the Government of Kazakhstan for the first time held WORLD ENERGY WEEK LIVE 2021 and the XIV Eurasian KAZENERGY Forum.

On April 9-11, 2019, Atyrau held two North-Caspian Regional Exhibitions - Atyrau Oil&Gas, and AtyrauBuild 2019, with the participation of 98 companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, Russia, and Turkey.
On 29 November an international forum dedicated to implementation of digitalization projects in West Kazakhstan Oblast and key issues on introducing digital technologies in the oil and gas industry was held in Uralsk.
