KazTransOil concluded with Rosneft an additional agreement to the contract for the provision of services for the transportation of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to China, with reference to the press service of the company.
The document will become effective from the date of entry into force of amendments and additions to the agreement between the government of Russia and the government of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of transportation of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to the PRC dated December 24, 2013.
An additional agreement to the agreement between KazTransOil and Rosneft Oil Company provides for the extension of the agreement until January 1, 2034, transportation of 10 million tonnes of Russian oil per year to China and maintaining the current tariff.
At present, the KazTransOil tariff for the service of transporting 10 million tonnes of Russian oil per year through the territory of Kazakhstan to the PRC along the route Border of Russia-border of Kazakhstan (Priirtyshsk)-Atasu (Kazakhstan)-Alashankou (China) is 15 dollar per 1 tonne without VAT, including: on the section border of Russia-border of Kazakhstan (Priirtyshsk)-Atasu (Kazakhstan), including oil transhipment to the Atasu HOPS at 4.23 dollar per 1 tonne without VAT accounting; on the section Atasu (Kazakhstan)-Alashankou (China) at 10.77 dollar per 1 tonne without VAT.
In January-April 2023, KazTransOil transited 3.2 million tonnes of Russian oil to China.
