Alex Stillavato is leaving his position as Managing Director of Eni Arm Wind in Kazakhstan.
Alex has been working in Kazakhstan since 2019 when he was appointed Eni Renewables Project Manager in Kazakhstan and Managing Director of ArmWind.
Prior to this, since 2017, Alex held a similar position at IEOC (Eni) in Egypt. Alex also worked at KPO where he headed the corporate governance.
Arm Wind is the Kazakh subsidiary of Eni Plenitude which globally integrates renewable energy production, energy sales and a large network of electric vehicle charging points.
Arm Wind's portfolio has grown significantly since Alex's appointment and currently consists of three active projects.
Arm Wind completed construction of Badamshi-1 with a capacity of 48 MW in 2020 followed by Badamshi-2 with an additional 48 MW in March 2022. Two wind power projects are now operating at 100% capacity and providing clean electricity to the Aktobe region.
In September 2023, Arm Wind commissioned the first Shaulder solar power plant with a capacity of 50 MW in the Turkestan region.
In addition, in June 2023, KMG and Eni announced a joint project of a 250 MW hybrid gas power plant on renewable energy sources in Zhanaozen, Mangistau region.
On July 16, near Zhanaozen, the inauguration of the start of construction of a hybrid station took place where Alex took an active part in the project.
The project leverages Eni's international industrial experience.
