KPO

Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO), in collaboration with AtyrauNefteMash LLP (ANM), announces the successful completion and transfer of a large-sized vessel produced entirely in Kazakhstan.

This milestone event highlights KPO's commitment to localising manufacturing efforts within the KEP-1 investment project.

ANM, a leading manufacturer of complex large-sized equipment for the oil and gas, petrochemical, oil refining, and construction industries, was contracted to produce the MP Glycol Contactor for the Dehydration Unit of KEP-1B. This vessel is designed to absorb water from gas, effectively drying it. The vessel dimensions are ID 2900mm by Length 21200mm, with a net weight of 122 tons and a total of 23,470 manhours, all achieved without any Lost Time Injuries.

ANM exemplifies the robust relationship between major oil and gas operators and the local market. The company holds all necessary international certifications and has a long history of supplying to KPO.
