Parker Wellbore

Alibek Murzagaliyev has been appointed General Manager for Kazakhstan at Parker Wellbore (formerly Parker Drilling).

Alibek is the first Kazakhstani to hold such a position in Parker Wellbore's 30-year history in Kazakhstan. His most recent appointment was Western Hemisphere Service Delivery Manager at the corporate office in Houston, USA.

Alibek graduated from Aktobe University named after Zhubanov with a degree in oil and gas. He has been working for Parker Wellbore for over 13 years.

Parker Wellbore is one of the largest international service companies providing drilling services.
In Kazakhstan, Parker Wellbore provides services at the Kashagan and Karachaganak projects and has a joint venture with KMG (KMG Parker Drilling company).

Parker Wellbore is one of several international oilfield service companies that has nationalized the position of head of the office in Kazakhstan.
