GPC INVESTMENT

75% of the share in the gas processing plant under construction with a capacity of 1 billion cubic m in the Atyrau region («GPC Investment» LLP) was transferred to the Qatari UCC.

In Doha, Qatar, a meeting was held between QazaqGaz and the participants of the gas processing plant project in the Atyrau region, namely Power International Holding (founder of UCC), Kazakh Construction Group, Chinese HBP.

During the meeting, parties discussed the issues of accelerating the construction of the gas processing plant at the Kashagan field.

As we wrote earlier, the deal to purchase a 75% stake in the gas processing plant by UCC Holding has already been completed, the transaction process has begun, where operational control has been transferred to the management of Qatari UCC Holding.

The parties also discussed the Kashagan gas processing plant projects with a capacity of 2.5 billion cubic meters per year, the construction of the second line of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline and the KS-14-Aktobe-Kostanay gas pipeline.
