KazTransOil (subsidiary of KazMunayGas) transported 44.887 million tonnes of oil in 2024, which is 1.58% more than in 2023, the pipeline company said.
"The volume of oil transportation through the system of main oil pipelines of KazTransOil amounted to 44 million 887 thousand tonnes of oil, which is 699 thousand tonnes more than in 2023," the published message says.
The company noted that in this way the fulfilment of planned targets was ensured. In particular, the volume of oil supplies to domestic refineries (subsidiaries of KazMunayGas) Atyrau Oil Refinery, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products (Shymkent Refinery), Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery (POCR or Pavlodar Refinery) in 2024 amounted to 16.712 million tonnes (5.519 million tonnes, 5.734 million tonnes, 5,459 million tonnes, respectively), which is a total of 139 thousand tonnes more than in 2023. In addition, 655 thousand tonnes of oil were transported to the refinery of the JV CASPI BITUM.
The volume of oil transportation through the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline amounted to 10.378 million tonnes, which corresponds to the indicator of 2023. 11,808 million tonnes of oil were transported through the TON-2 oil pipeline section located in Kazakhstan, which is 566 thousand tonnes more than in 2023.
The company transhipped 11.19 million tonnes of oil to the Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipeline, which corresponds to the indicator of 2023. The volume of oil transhipment to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K system amounted to 4,208 million tonnes, which is 967 thousand tonnes more than in 2023. The oil filling in tankers in the port of Aktau using the capacities of KazTransOil amounted to 3.36 million tonnes, which corresponds to the indicator of 2023.
