KPO

KPO and its Shareholders have officially announced the start of the next stage in the preparation of the Karachaganak Gas Processing Plant (KGPP) project with a capacity of 4 billion cubic m per year: the consortium, led by Hyundai Engineering Co., is starting preparatory engineering and technical works.

KPO announces that the GPP project is a strategic initiative of great importance for the energy supply of Kazakhstan and the long-term production activities of KPO. This confirms the intention of KPO shareholders to fully contribute to the development of the energy sector of Kazakhstan, as well as to ensure economic growth and long-term benefits for all stakeholders.

KPO and its Shareholders are committed to close cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of further studying all parameters necessary for the economic assessment of the GPP project.
