The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has put into operation the previously shut down tanker loading unit CPC-1, the Petroleum Journal reports with reference to the company's press service.
"In accordance with the decision of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, based on the results of an extraordinary survey, the CPC-1 RS class No. 010784 was restored. The remote mooring device of the CPC-1 TLU has been put into operation. The shipment of oil is carried out through the CPC-1 and CPC-3 TLUs. The resumption of work of the CPC-2 Military industrial complex will be announced additionally," the information says.
It should be noted that from March 27 to March 31, 2025, the Russian Federal State Control conducted an unscheduled inspection of Caspian Pipeline Consortium R. CPC issued an order to eliminate the identified violations and a protocol on the temporary prohibition of the operation of remote berthing devices CPC-1 and CPC-2. It was reported that all transshipment operations will be carried out through TLU-3.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan explained that there are no restrictions on the admission of Kazakh oil into the CPC system. Shipment is carried out in the normal mode according to the schedule through the TLU-3, which is in operation.
