KMG Kashagan B.V.

Bakhytzhan Khassanov has been appointed General Director of KMG Kashagan B.V.
 

Since July 2024, he was the First Deputy General Director of KMG Kashagan B.V.
 

Bakhytzhan Khassanov received the qualification of "Mining Engineer" in 1984, graduating from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "Technology and Integrated Mechanization of Oil and Gas Field Development".
 

He began his career in 1984 as an engineer in the field development laboratory at KazNIPIneft. From 1997 to 2003, he worked in such companies as: Kazakhoil, Kaztransoil, KMG. He held the position of General Director of KazMunayTeniz, Managing Director for the Development of Offshore Projects of KMG. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as Deputy Director of the Branch of Lukoil Overseas Service Ltd., from 2010 to 2018 he was Managing Director for Project Management of PSA LLP. From 2019 to 2023, he held the position of General Director at KMG Engineering.

From February 1, 2023 to July 2024, he was General Director of KMG Kashagan B.V.
