Mangistaumunaigas

The Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) is negotiating an extension of the contract for the subsurface use of Mangistaumunaigas. 

According to the Ministry of Energy, negotiations are continuing with the participation of the parties to the contract. Among othert hings, the main terms of the extension are being considered.

CNPC representatives plan to arrive in the near future to continue a detailed discussion of current issues. They will also discuss making a final investment decision.

If a positive result is achieved, a new version of the hydrocarbon production contract will be concluded. It will be developed in accordance with a standard contract for the production of hydrocarbons.
