On March 31, a ministerial meeting of the countries participating in the OPEC+ agreement was held in the format of a videoconference.
Kazakhstan was represented at the meeting by Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov, the ministry's press service reports. The meeting discussed the fulfilment by the countries of their obligations under the Agreement in February. It was decided to continue increasing the current level of production by OPEC+ countries by 432 thousand barrels per day per month until the restrictions are completely lifted.
Kazakhstan's obligations for May 2022 will amount to 1.638 million barrels per day. The end of June 2022 remains the compensation period for overfulfilled volumes.
