The Eurasian division of Chevron declared about the official opening of the Atyrau Valve Plant (AVP), which will make the iron pipeline valves for the systems of water supply, sewerages and natural gas transport.
According to the company, the total investment in the plant is about $ 40 million, with planned –capacity of 30,000 valves per year. According to information, the AVP will use a technology, licensed by the Danish company, AVK, which is a recognized producer of the iron pipe valve. The company created more than 70 workplaces.
The management and operation of the plant will be fully implemented by Kazakhstani specialists. The plant has the ability to export the products for the export. As the statement says, it fully complies with the government's efforts to expand and diversify the country's industrial power.
