Gazprom-KMG

    The chairman of the board of Gazprom Alexey Miller and the president of NC KazMunayGas Bolat Akshulakov held a meeting in Moscow, informs Gazprom’s information department.

At the meeting, the opportunities were discussed of a joint development of the transboundary fields Imashevskoye and Central in the Caspian Sea. Also, the parties discussed other issues on developing bilateral cooperation in the energy sphere.

The meeting participants positively assessed the results of activity of JV КаzRosGas. At the meeting, A. Miller pointed out a tendency towards growth of internal gas consumption in Kazakhstan: «This is a good indicator of economic growth. The deliveries of Russian gas to Kazakhstan will be increased by 10 % in 2011 compared with the last year. Gazprom and KazMunayGas successfully and mutually beneficially co-operate in all directions of gas business,» stressed A. Miller.
