The export of gasoline from Kazakhstan in 2020 will be 2.8 times higher than last year. This forecast was announced by the Ministry of energy. The Ministry explained that the expected volume of gasoline exports this year will be about 500 thousand tons. In 2019, the shipment was 180.7 thousand tons.
"For 10 months of 2020, gasoline exports amounted to 418.2 thousand tons. Exports were carried out to the countries of Central Asia and Europe," the Ministry of energy noted.
Speaking about forecasts for 2021, the Ministry explained that the volume of exports will depend on the balance of production of light oil products and their consumption in the domestic market. Unclaimed volumes will be shipped abroad.
"Export volumes in 2021 will depend on the above-mentioned factors, in particular, the rate of recovery of consumption of petroleum products in the domestic market," the Ministry of energy concluded.
