“It has been a great honor for both Susan, my wife, and I to be a part of this wonderful country for nearly 8 years of my career through assignments in Almaty and Atyrau. I am truly honored to have led such a world class-organization like TCO over the last several years and contributed to the growth and development of the Republic, the industry and our great TCO workforce. As I hand over the reins to Eimear, I am confident that TCO will continue to be well positioned for further industry-leading performance and growth under her leadership”.
During his tenure, Ted has been a strong advocate of safe and reliable operations and helped TCO to achieve a major milestone of 3 billion barrels of oil production since 1993. Eimear Bonner, the incoming Tengizchevroil General Director, adds, “TCO is entering a new stage of its development with the Future Growth expansion project. The Future Growth Project-Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP) are two integrated projects implemented by TCO simultaneously. While FGP implementation will expand production, WPMP will keep the existing Tengiz plants at full capacity by lowering wellhead pressure and boosting the pressure of the six existing processing trains.
