Managing director of North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) Stephane de Mahieu is stepping down from position, as reported by a source involved in the oil and gas sector. “Stephan de Mahieu is leaving the company, which he was in charge of since May 2014.
He will be replaced by Bruno Jardin”, - KazTAG source said. He reminded that currently B. Jardin is managing ExxonMobil Kazakhstan. NCOC is the “Kashagan” project operator in Northern part of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan. In June 2015 restructuring process of operating model for the North Caspian Project was carried out, by means of the accession of North Caspian Operating CompanyN.V. to NCOC В.V. and NCPOC.
As a result of reorganization of NCOC N.V., company became the universal successor of NCOC В.V. и NCPOC, accepting all the responsibilities of the operator under the NCSPSA. Currently among the shareholders of NCOC there are Agip Caspian Sea B.V. (16,81%), KMG Kashagan B.V. (16,88%), ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc. (16,81%), Inpex NorthCaspian Sea Ltd. (7,56%), Shell Kazakhstan Development B.V. (16,81%), Total EP Kazakhstan (16,81%) и CNPC Kazakhstan B.V. (8,33%).
