FROM OCTOBER 4 TO 8, WORLD ENERGY WEEK AND THE XIV KAZENERGY EURASIAN FORUM WILL BE HELD
KAZENERGY Association holds the event jointly with the World Energy Council (WEC) on the topic: "ENERGY FOR BETTER LIVES/ENERGY FOR THE BENEFIT OF HUMANITY".
This year, WORLD ENERGY WEEK is held for the first time in Central Asia, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan – in Nur-Sultan.
The main goal of the event is to promote sustainable development and the use of energy for the benefit of humanity. The World Energy Week 2021 is held by the National Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The week-long program will offer a wide range of events and networking opportunities for the global energy community, including exclusive high-level meetings that will bring together heads of line ministries, heads of multinational corporations and international organizations, a wide audience of leaders and experts in the field of energy. The event will promote debate and open dialogue on energy issues for the creation of sustainable energy systems at the national, regional and global levels.
ENERGY FOR BETTER LIVES
The topic reflects the aspirations of the international community in ensuring energy security, decarbonization and low-carbon development. The choice of the topic is also related to efforts to overcome the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and improve people's lives.
XIV KAZENERGY EURASIAN FORUM
For the 14-year historyKAZENERGY Eurasian Forum has become the main international event of the energy sector in the region. The Forum is intended to ensure an effective dialogue between participants of the energy markets, to consider current trends and directions of development of the energy system.
During the Forum, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a number of presentations and events will be held at the site of the XIV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum:
- Presentation of the Book "OIL AND GAS of KAZAKHSTAN-30 years of independence: the Path of creation"
- Presentation of a documentary film (a series of five films)
- Special conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Also, the V National Energy Report will be presented – the most comprehensive analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of the fuel and energy sector of Kazakhstan.

The World Energy Council is the largest international energy non – governmental organization established in 1923. The WEC consists of more than 90 national committees representing more than 300 organizations, including state authorities, industrial and expert organizations. Annually, the council holds a global event of world energy leaders – WORLD ENERGY WEEK.
