KPO Initiated Construction of Technopark in Aksai

Каrachaganak Petroleum Оperating B.V (KPO) has initiated construction of the Technopark in the town of Aksai in the Western - Kazakhstan region being an administrative centre for the Каrachaganak oil and gas condensate field. Gumar Dyusenbayev, deputy head of regional administration, Аibek Krambayev, head of technical group of the authorised body (PSA) and Paolo Repetti, KPO’s services director, have laid a symbolical «first stone» in the foundation of Technopark. Also, the employees of KPO and Kazakhstan contract companies as well as foreign investors took part in the ceremony symbolizing a start of the pilot project for the Technopark.
Also, a memorandum was signed between the companies which should unite efforts in creating the Technopark. It will be a prominent technical center into the structure of which will enter production workshops with the area of 2500 sq. m each, heavy bridge cranes, gas distribution systems, test laboratories, warehouses and offices. As partners in the project act the world’s famous companies which sounded the concept of their activity in A`ksai at special presentations. Prior to form the list of offered innovations, the demand for them in the Kazakhstan markets and abroad was thoroughly studied.

The specialists of the Italian company Ecis Group will train the Kazakhstan personnel to modern techniques of production of block-module constructions and panels applied in the oil and gas industry. Swedish Welding Systems from Sweden is specialized in manufacture of welding equipment and its service. The company undertakes an obligation to train technical and engineering staff and welders. Delta Scaffolding Systems of Norway, leader in manufacture of high-quality and light aluminium metalware and covering systems, will teach to the new technology of scaffolding. Green Business from the UK offers new approaches in the solution of one of the most urgent problems – preservation of the environment and prevention of its pollution. These are new technologies in utilization of waste products, liquidation of oil spills and other polluting components, and rehabilitation of soil fertility. It is envisaged to conduct training of personnel in Kazakhstan, the UK, the UAE and Italy.
