The Concept of II World Anti-Crisis Conference for the UN Member States will be Introduced at VII Astana Economic Forum

21st-23rd May 2014 Kazakhstan Capital Welcomes Participants of VII Astana Economic Forum.
The world remains under a strong pressure of economic recession. We live in interconnected and interdependent world where financial economic recessions serve as catalysts of crisis situations in many areas: deterioration of banks and budget systems’ financial state, poor level of trust to markets that negatively influences mass consumption and investments. In turn, this leads to the growth of unemployment and debt deficit in many countries.

In this light, discussions of global issues and perspectives of world economy, and ways to find solutions of challenging situations, that millions of people have experienced in different regions of the world, are being discussed at world expert platforms and forums.
In this challenging situation for the world economy, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a speech at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2007 with an initiative to create Eurasian Club of Scientists aiming at uniting scientists, economists and practitioners. This has become one of the first global anti-crisis initiatives to find solutions out of the world financial and economic crisis. Thus, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has taken the audacity of responsibility and was the first among the world scale leaders to initiate the need for joint efforts of representatives of economic science, politics and business communities in fighting against global crisis.
Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association to date unites world leading scientists and experts, government officials, representatives of business world, civic society and mass media from more than 120 countries who have proposed to hold Astana Economic Forum (hereinafter AEF) annually in Astana city, Kazakhstan.

At the beginning of 2009, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in continuation of systemic realization of initiative in getting out of world financial-economic crisis in his Articles “Keys from crisis” and “The Fifth Way”, has outlined practical steps in touring world economy from the world recession.
For the first time in history of the Republic of Kazakhstan brilliant minds of the world economic thought Nobel laureates Robert Mundell and Edmund Phelps participated in 2009 at II AEF. Additionally, first recommendations in the development of the world economy for
G20 states were developed. From 2008 AEF gathers global experts and representatives of business communities together to search for solutions in fighting against economic and social challenges of the present. The Forum has proved trust paid by the global community. AEF is becoming an attractive platform for many authoritarian organisations, the leaders of which choose Kazakhstan capital city as competent partner and innovative platform in the development of current trends. VII AEF, held in May 21st-23rd 2014, is currently including seventy events. A few of the most important events are Summit of Leaders of World Energy, International Summit of Journalism, II World Anti-Crisis Conference, and traditional Leaders’ Dialogue with Prime Minister participation and many other important persons. VII Astana Economic Forum becomes not only a place of meeting for the world expert community leaders, but also a platform where authoritarian international organisations will celebrate their anniversaries.
In 2014 United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and International Trade Centre (ITC) will turn 50. Its 70 years’ anniversary, within the frameworks of AEF, United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference will celebrate, also known as the Bretton Woods Agreement.
