Effective June 1, 2023, Cécile Rauline becomes the Managing Director of ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc., succeeding Dinesh Sivasamboo.
Cécile began her career with ExxonMobil’s French affiliate in 2002, and since then held various commercial, supervisory, and managerial positions in Refining & Supply, Global Gas Logistics, Upstream Commercial and Business Development in France, Belgium, USA, and the UK. She worked as Managing Director for ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Vietnam Ltd, and Managing Director for Esso Exploration and Production Chad Inc.
Ms. Rauline graduated from Sciences Po Paris (France) with a degree in political and social sciences in 1998 and ESSEC Business School (Paris, France) in 2002.
ExxonMobil started its business in Kazakhstan in 1993. The company owns a 25% interest in the Tengizchevroil joint venture, which operates the giant Tengiz field, 16.81% in the North Caspian Production Sharing Agreement that includes the world-class Kashagan field, and a 7.5% interest in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
