The future of E&P: Celebrating the 10th edition of the SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan
London, UK – 29 August 2023 – SPE's landmark technical event in the Caspian returns for its 10th anniversary year across 20 – 23 November. This year’s event returns to Baku, Azerbaijan to discuss the latest cutting-edge technologies and industry practices that are shaping the future of oil and gas exploration and production on a local Caspian and global scale.
Hosted by the national oil company SOCAR and in partnership with the Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists, this year's event is set to mark its return to in-person discussions. The emphasis is on reconnecting and tackling emerging challenges within the sector.
Over the past decade, the oil and gas industry has faced significant challenges, yet amidst these, positive transformations have emerged, with more companies exploring 'green' possibilities and renewable opportunities. Known for its influential role in the oil and gas industry, it will bring together industry experts and E&P professionals for insightful discussion and knowledge exchange. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the transformative innovations propelling the industry forward and key challenges being faced.
Over the last ten years, the SPE event has attracted over 4000 top industry professionals, experts, and decision-makers from diverse backgrounds in the Caspian region. It has fostered connections with more than 50 companies and showcased the latest trends and technologies shaping the industry.
