According to 2013 estimates, the consolidated oil and condensate production volume, taking into account the share of KazMunayGaz National Company, was amounted to 22.6 million tons, or 101% of the plan. In comparison with 2012, the volume of production increased by 1.2 million tons, or within 6%.
In 2013, the Company performed almost the entire mining plan, except for the North Caspian Consortium and Kazakhoil Aktobe. The Deputy Chairman of the Board of KMG Kuymangazy Iskaziyev informed about this. According to him, oil processing by KMG in 2013 exceeded 16 million tons, against 15.9 million tons in 2012 ( 1% increase); the total transportation volume decreased by 1.4%, to 76.1 million tons, and gas production increased by 12 % to 2.9 billion cubic meters, with the fulfilment of the plan at 10%. Iskaziyev also mentioned: “As the results of 2013, the net income of KazMunayGaz was 456.8 billion KZT, exceeding the plan at 37%.
Mainly due to the increase of oil prices, as well as the execution of the production programme. Considering the established plan of the production programme and forecasts of Brent oil prices as 94 dollars per barrel, in 2014, the net income of KazMunayGaz was planned at the level of the 334 billion KZT”. He noted that in 2013 the Company paid 622 billion KZT of taxes and other obligatory payments.
