On September 5, 2022, a ministerial meeting of the countries participating in the OPEC+ agreement was held in the format of a videoconference. Kazakhstan was represented at the meeting by Vice Minister of Energy Asset Magauov, the ministry's press service reports.
The meeting discussed the fulfilment in August by the countries of their obligations under the agreement.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided that in October the level of production will be at the level of August, taking into account that an increase of 0.1 million barrels per day was only for September. Kazakhstan's obligations for October will amount to 1.706 million barrels per day.
