The Outcomes of the VII Astana Economic Forum and the II World Anti-Crisis Conference
On May 21-23, 2014, on the VII Astana Economic Forum “Risk management in the era of changes in the format of G-Global” and the II World Anti-Crisis Conference, more than 80 events were held, 83 final documents (memoranda and agreements) were signed on the total amount of 5,6 billion dollars. The main event was to approve the Concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan.

The panel session attended by Nursultan Nazarbayev held on May 23: The President welcomed the Forum participants and pointed out an importance of the event. “Our forum has transformed from a regional discussion platform into a milestone event in the international economic life. Proposals and ideas of the forum were presented by Kazakhstan at the G20 Summit in September 2013. G-Global virtual platform operates successfully joining more than 4 million Internet users from 150 countries of the world. This year's forum has gathered together nearly 10 000 delegates from 150 countries. The II World Anti-Crisis Conference is being held with the support of the United Nations Organization. The agenda of the forum is quite ambitious. I would like to thank all participants for showing great respect for Kazakhstan and coming here. I wish all of you fruitful work at the forum” - Nursultan Nazarbayev stated.
The Dialogue of Leaders. On May 22 2014 in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan Astana in the II World Anti-Crisis Conference held in the framework of the VII Astana Economic Forum and the 70th year of anniversary of the Bretton Woods agreements the Concept of the World Anti-Crisis plan was approved. “By oriental point of view when the world is developing by cycles. Taking into consideration the cycling development. In particularly if you look at the Chinese point of view, this year in 2014 we are living in a different cycle, which is completely different from what we have seen 30 years ago. And whether we like it or not we are living in the different world right now. And some of the rules which were widely accepted in the global in 2013 does not work in 2014. And if we look at some practical reality we see that in that globalization doesn’t work anymore under the previous games. And we see that in 2014 the rules of the games have been changed”,-said the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov.
The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Tony Blairagreed that the world in terms of geopolitics is rapidly transforming. “But with the changing world the global governance institutions such as the UN, the UN Security Council must change”,- said the politician . – “They have to become more efficient and be able to respond the major challenges”. President of the 67 session of the UN General Assembly Vuk Jeremic, compared the current situation in the world with the times of the Second World War, which according to him, just started as a result of globalization. He noted that the international community must urgently seek a solution seeming to be less substantial climate change, recalling the humanitarian catastrophe in Serbia affected by severe floods.

The speakers and participants of the panel session discussed with audience the poverty reduction, political instability in Ukraine, which is affecting the overall economic scenario of the Europe and the Middle East. The dialogue outcome was to approve the concept of the World Anti-Crisis Plan for the UN member states.
International innovation and investment exhibition “Kazakhstan Investment EXPO – 2014”: In the future, the exhibition will become an annual platform for the presentation of national investment projects in Kazakhstan to the international community, demonstrating programs and priorities of the Second Five-Year plan of the SPAIID Kazakhstan, improving the investment climate, attracting foreign direct investment, transfer of modern technologies and agreements, contracts and memoranda.

V International Investment Forum “Astana Invest 2014”. Prime Minister Karim Massimov: “Our efforts to create an attractive environment have also been recognized by the World Bank. By world standards we are in a good competitive position on the protection of investments. Over the past five years $ 160 billion was invested in Kazakhstan's economy. At the same time, in Astana, Kazakhstan created the most favorable conditions for investment. There is an integrated approach to support investors at the national and regional levels. Within the framework of “Astana Invest 2014” 11 memoranda on the amount of 500 million dollars is planned to be signed”.
The II World Anti-Crisis Conference “Regaining Confidence in Global Finance System. Breaking the cycle of Financial Crisis”: Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov: “G-Global international project initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev in December 2011, and proposed on the G-20 Summit in St. Petersburg, is able to create the fundamental basis for a balanced and comprehensive dialogue”, - stated Mr. Sultanov.
