Uzbekistan has reached an agreement with Kazakhstan on use of Omsk-Pavlodar- Shymkent oil pipeline for the crude supplies to its oil refineries. It was declared by Alisher Sultanov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneft National Holding Company. Apparently, it concerns the deliveries of Russian crudes to Uzbekistan. Previously, Kirill Molodtsov, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Energy, said that until the end of March, the authorized structures of Russia and Uzbekistan shall prepare their proposals on effective mechanism of Russian oil deliveries to the country, reports Sputnik.

The shareholders of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating company prepare a proposal on equitable distribution of oil sales revenues for Kazakhstan, reports Trend. "During nine months, the KPO shareholders shall bring a proposal to the Government of Kazakhstan on a dispute about the unfair distribution of oil sales revenues at Karachaganak field," stipulates the statement. As noted, at the same time, Kazakhstan, represented by the Ministry of Energy, will continue to defend its interests through the arbitration.
Fluor Corp.
Fluor Corporation announced its joint venture team, KPJV, has been selected by Tengizchevroil to execute the front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the Multi-Phase Pump Project in Kazakhstan. As a part of TCO’s major capital program, the project will implement multi-phase pump technology across the gathering network of existing oil and gas facilities at the Tengiz and Korolevskoe fields to maintain crude production by reducing wellhead pressure and increasing well deliverability.
Investments
The amount of investments to Kazakhstan’s oil and gas sector decreased by one third over the past three years, said Kanat Bozumbayev, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan. "In the past three years, the downturn in the oil and gas industry reduced the amount of investments to the sector from 18 bln USD in 2013 to 12 bln USD in 2016," said Mr. Bozumbayev, speaking at an extended meeting of the Ministry of Energy.
