KazMunayGas / Shell
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by KazMunayGas and Shell Kazakhstan. The document was signed by Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas, and Herman Burmeister, Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Shell concern in Kazakhstan.
KazMunayGas / Lukoil
KazMunayGas and Lukoil will equally share the shares in the project to develop the Kalamkas-Sea and Khazar fields located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, the press service of KMG reported. Shares in the project will be distributed as follows: KMG at 50%, Lukoil at 50%.

Caspian Sunrise PLC said that its deep well 802 at the BNG contract area in the south-west of Kazakhstan is flowing at between 700 to 900 barrels of oil per day, as oil was discovered before the well was completed.

AD Ports Group
The AD Ports Group has signed deals with Kazakhstan’s national oil company and government to develop shipping fleets and facilities on the Caspian and Black Seas to aid growing exports.
The KazMunayGas partnership agreement will explore projects including the development of a new shallow-water fleet to support operations in the Caspian and a tanker fleet to carry Kazakh oil exports.
Isatay Operating Company
Caspian Sunrise PLC, a Kazakhstan-focused oil & gas exploration and production company, says its bespoke drilling vessel Caspian Explorer wins a tender to drill a deep well in the Caspian Sea, with the formal contract expected to be signed by the end of February. Says the well is scheduled to be drilled in the summer of 2024, to a planned depth of 2,500 meters. The company xpects work to take about two months.
