Oil production at Kashagan decreased by 38%, to 33 thousand tonnes, due to a storm in the Black Sea, reported the state-owned Situational Analytical Centre of the Fuel and Energy Complex of Kazakhstan.
“Another large Kazakh company has limited oil production due to the suspension of oil shipments in the port of Novorossiysk by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) due to worsening weather conditions. Thus, yesterday the NCOC company reduced oil production by 38%, from 54 to 33 thousand tonnes. Let us remind you that on November 26, TCO reduced production by 50%, and on November 28 by another 10%,” the published message says.
On November 28, 184.6 thousand tonnes of oil and gas condensate and 134.6 million cubic metres of gas were produced in Kazakhstan.
